Such a waste of lives (emphasis on the ‘s’, 33 lambs on a single coat) in this monstrosity of a vest on Anna Selezneva in Kanye West F/W 2012:

Karakul lambs, less than three days old or direct from the womb. Ugh-ly.
Finally! I’ve been waiting for months to see the clothes! After seven years, an Atelier Versace show! I’m not too sure about some of the clothes though (particularly that yellow onesie that Lindsey wore. Is it couture enough?). The first dress on Karlie was really good, as well the amazing details on Arizona. A bit unexpected because the clothes are very structured.. I’m just used to seeing viscous fabrics from them.
But the set looked a bit like a beauty pageant stage, non? And I bet it was really slippery, Karmen was really careful walking and she’s one stomping model!
Mon and I —- about to eat lunch here at French Baker, Landmark Makati. Paris is calling us with this cool placemat! hahaha
Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Take Me Home
I’m always in love of this video! It is so classy, artsy and dreamy. Sophie’s face is perfection and she got good moves. With that flowy fabric at the start, I’m already captured. This is good fashion in a music video and she looks like a VISION in every outfit. I get teary eyed just looking at her every ensemble in the made up Parisian setting. And lastly, this is a Cher cover but done wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than the original. This is truly the MOST stylish video ever bar none!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Gosh, I miss the old MTV! Without those ridiculous reality shows!)
Magnifique et toujuors à la mode!

Alexander McQueen - S/S 2012
Just one look and you can still see the McQueen DNA. Sarah Burton is clearly taking the brand to a good direction. The texture in the clothes is amazing and they look much better moving than in pictures!

Fatima Siad for Hermès S/S 2012
I was just browsing runway shows then saw this. NICELY DONE! The color suits her skin very well! Congratulations Fatima!

Lanvin S/S 2012
One of the shows I’ve been waiting for! The first thing that came into mind when I saw the picture above: “Lanvin not only doing separates, but pants?! Shocker!”
The brand is well-known for flowy fabrics and dresses, so I’m quite surprised Alber Elbaz did a handful of pants this time.

Before I hit the sack, I was finally able to see the pictures of Balmain S/S 2012! Anja Rubik opened the show, it was a clean ensemble in white, with embellishment! (Of course! But the gold on white seems a bit Versace S/S 2012 to me as well, as the same palette was shown in Milan recently.) But I hate the first outfit on Anna Selezneva. It’s just… what’s with the skirt in this material? The worst in this collection.

Anyway, I was initially a bit unsure of what direction the house will go after the departure of Decarnin, but clearly Olivier Rousteing retained the rock and roll influences from his predecessor. I’m okay with it! :p I love the rock and roll Balmain, even if it’s a bit tired for most people. I dig studs and other metals on clothes. <3 Give me a jacket and I’ll wear it even to bed.
Coincidentally, my most favoritest (double superlative for exaggeration lol) was also worn by Anna Selezneva! I’m having a rush just looking at it! HAHAHA

And now, I can hardly wait for Lanvin!!! <3
Now watching “The Secret World of Haute Couture”. JUST WOW.
