I’ve been watching Fashion TV for almost an hour and they have featured Liu Wen a lot. I admit that I did not pay much attention to her before, even though I know of her existence. But her various backstage interview made me fall in love with her. She was very eager to express herself in the questions thrown at her and I was really impressed on how intelligible and sincere her answers were. What I noticed the most was the constant mention of her family. Being a child born from China’s one-child policy, her parents are very lucky to have this bomb for their one shot. She seemed to be really close to her parents and that is very admirable. <3
From now on, I will keep an eye on her (and sweet Sui He as well!)
How can a girl carry a cheap, clear plastic cup and still look this amazing??? Gosh, the world is really unfair LOL <3

TIWOE (Things I Won on Ebay) #21
I know that I’ve previously mentioned that I won’t be buying any clutch / pouch because I have already salvaged my LV toiletry case six days ago for the same purpose. Well, I have already paid for this black vintage Christian Dior zipped pouch. It arrived in the mail few hours back and I was really excited. But when I opened it, I noticed that it was bigger than what I originally expected and the original listing seemed to show a plain black one. HOWEVER, this is much better than what I hoped for and the design was extremely discreet and less monogram-y. Dior doesn’t have a lot of monogrammed stuff unlike Gucci and Louis Vuitton, except the Girly stuff and another pattern they produced before.
It isn’t the most roomy but it can snugly fit inside a long wallet, a coin purse, a wallet and a regular-sized umbrella! I looked on Ebay.com and a similar item with the monogram material is currently for sale at US$ 129.00 (US$ 9.00 shipping not included). I’d like to think that I got a very good deal considering that I only paid wayyyyyyyy less than that amount. ^_^

Most people, with a definitive affinity to certain things, are more or less ardently looking for their holy grail.
For me, THIS exact Mulberry Piccadilly will do the trick. I’ve heard that it’s not exactly the most practical size, with the reinforced base making it extremely heavy, but who cares? If I have one, I would just be putting in nothing else but bills, a cellphone and keys. I’ll be very happy to have one, and I don’t mind it being extra slouchy. I normally love structured bags but this one will definitely get a free pass.

I’m missing one of my two most adored models: the ridiculously artistic Sasha Pivovarova. Ever since the announcement of her pregnancy last December 2011, I’m really hoping to see a picture of her with the baby bump. None of the Jessica-Simpson-who-tastelessly-copied-Demi-Moore-pregnant picture, but just a regular pregnant mom. But there’s a rumor that she is actually under rehab and not pregnant, I hope it was wrong. >_<

TIWOE (Things I Won on Ebay) #20
I’ve been searching for the page to see what was my last TIWOE and I was astounded that the last time I bought from Ebay was almost four months ago! I’m inclined to think that I’m beginning to be wiser with my spending… oh really??? LOL
Anyway, I’m having an epiphany. I noticed that out of six or seven days a week, I just use a monogram bag once or twice at most. This led me to believe that I’m kind of over the monogram phase. I don’t intend to resell them though. I just like them here in my room (euphemism for hoarding). I’m officially into heavy all-leather bags and/or practical, weatherproof microfabric/nylon material for the impending rainy days. I’m holding on to the Gucci coated canvas messenger, though, because it is really weatherproof. And having applied mink oil to the leather parts now made it almost impermeable. But I don’t want to haggard it so a good ol’ trusty bag in tessuto will do the trick. ^_^
I have very little Prada knowledge, though. I used to have two but I sold the other one half a year ago and I’m not really using the tessuto Robot one because it was open as hell. I have asked the ever reliable Prada enthusiast I met online, Gwen, to have a good look at it. According to her, the bag was about 10 years old and authentic. So that’s good news enough for me. I’m so excited for the bag to arrive tomorrow!!! <3
Give me $ 2195 and I might buy this Burberry Large Washed Leather Tote! The color looks extremely beautiful! I bet the bag will develop a gorgeous patina overtime. T__________T

FINALLY! I’m able to stream FashionTV on my BlackBerry!!! ^________^ I’m so stoked!!!
BlackBerry has the application in the AppWorld BUT it is not currently available for download in my location!!! WorldFashion Channel is quite okay. The runway shows are nice but when it was the interview part… I can’t understand anything because it was in Russian! Nor can I read the caption because it was also written in Cyrillic!
Good thing I just discovered YamGo TV’s Facebook page and they have a direct streaming link to FashionTV among others! Well, I’ve been trying to make the link given in their homepage but it wasn’t working. But the link from YamGo http://www.yamgo.mobi/fashion-tv is working perfectly fine for me! Thank you YamGo! One more Facebook like for you!
