FINALLY! I’m able to stream FashionTV on my BlackBerry!!! ^________^ I’m so stoked!!!
BlackBerry has the application in the AppWorld BUT it is not currently available for download in my location!!! WorldFashion Channel is quite okay. The runway shows are nice but when it was the interview part… I can’t understand anything because it was in Russian! Nor can I read the caption because it was also written in Cyrillic!
Good thing I just discovered YamGo TV’s Facebook page and they have a direct streaming link to FashionTV among others! Well, I’ve been trying to make the link given in their homepage but it wasn’t working. But the link from YamGo http://www.yamgo.mobi/fashion-tv is working perfectly fine for me! Thank you YamGo! One more Facebook like for you!
I have my BlackBerry for four months now and I must admit that I don’t get to use very well the unlimited internet of my plan. I browse and download games and apps every once in a while but it never occurred to me to get a TV app. Then BOOM! I downloaded this SPBV TV app and I’m hooked. I’m not bothered that it doesn’t show local channels but who cares, I got a lot of cool French news and local channels (and also other languages) —- but the best channel would be WorldFashion! Albeit in Russian, it did not bother me at all because runway videos are being played continuously! Globelines would kill me for relentlessly streaming. LOLOLOL I love this app!!! HO HO HO!!!
… then the “Post via e-mail” of my Tumblr is evidently working LOL
I love the current wallpaper on my cellphone! ^_^
If there’s one thing I resent about my new cellphone, it’s the lack of capability to take DECENT pictures. I’m not asking too much, like in the league of extremely clear and good and fancy quality photos, just the capacity to take PASSABLE pictures. I know this 9300 is only 2 MP but I hope it has even a macro function for sharper focus. And I’m not even asking for a flash because I’m so fine with just macro. It kind of made me miss my Jurassic SE P990i (which also has 2 MP cam, btw) because it has the best camera ever (well, at least for me).
This 9300 can do everything for me: it can send and receive email, browse the net non-stop, stream YouTube videos, heck it might be also able to buy me groceries or flip burgers if I ask it too —- except take a good and acceptable picture.
We can’t have everything, though.
First of all, I spent the whole night last night and the whole day today just watching Cycle 4 of Australia’s Next Top Model! Not a good way to start the year, just lying down and I pushed my ass of the bed to take a bath. Our internet connection is quite slow, so streaming in my laptop sucks so much. But surprise, surprise! It’s amazingly fast in my BlackBerry! HO HO HO I’m on Episode 10 now and an episode away from the finale. I know I have read about AusNTM on Wikipedia before but I basically forgot who won, so I’m staying away from the page and the comments. =D I hated that Demelza bitch, along with the rest of the stupid triumvirate of Rebecca (a poor man’s Sessilee Lopez TBQH) and Alyce (who eerily looks like that Twilight bitch, Kristin [sp?] Stewart). I know there’s a result already years ago but I love Alex! ^_^
Well anyway, I’ve been thinking over the things that happened to me over the past year. Just like everybody else, it has lots of ups and downs. I’ve been very lucky to go to a lot of places with Mon like HK (again) but the Seoul trip was the bomb! Again, I’ve never visited any place I’ve missed right after leaving.
I’m also so stoked that my ol’ squad won the UAAP CDC again. =D WERQ!
However, I’m not too thrilled that I had quite a handful of bumps as well. I began hating so bad an office mate because of her self-entitlement, and thinking that she was actually good —- but she’s really not. Just a bitch. Want to strangle her. LOL But seriously, I never thought that I’d be attending a funeral in 2011. It was really a sad year with my maternal grandmother passing away, with all those accompanying family drama.
My closest friend, Ikle, also left the country mid of the year for China and I miss him everyday. But I feel extremely happy and proud of him. :)
I”m also happy that we got to see 2NE1 perform here in Manila! HAHAHA I think that was the last time I lost my voice due to crazy screaming! It was really stupid to endure all those “acts” that went before them, but it was worth the wait.
It has been a very fun year and we started the New Year with a bang! I’m very optimistic of 2012 and even if it’s a year purported to be the end of the world, I will be werqing hard and accomplish more things than before! It’s more of a holistic goal, and I hope to give a better culmination of my year before 2013! Better relationship with the people I love and of course, myself! <3
I surely know that I can maximize the usage of this postpaid plan. I’m not big with BlackBerry Messenger (the prospect of saying “BBM ME!” irks me a lot, but who knows, that might change), but I’m using the e-mail feature a lot. I now integrated my personal email because that is where most of the important stuff from school go. Also, my eBay email address was also integrated and I now receive notifications if there were questions from buyers. Now I don’t have to open all those windows in my desktop browser.
The best part: I get to exchange e-mails with my friend Ikle on-the-go! It’s like sending a text message to him and I love the speedy replies. He’s surely missing all the Christmas action here in the Philippines from China but once this season is over, he might minimize his homesickness. :D
I finally got my BlackBerry 3G 9300! The line won’t be activated until another day, though. Meanwhile, I’ll be busy downloading apps and setting it up. ^_^
Tonight will be the last night of my old Sony Ericsson P990i. I had this phone since October 7, 2007 and it has helped me a lot, most especially in my eBay business. It looks dilapidated and has lots of issues but it is still special to me. It saw me through a lot of milestones in my life and I’m forever grateful about it. However, I went to Globe earlier to apply for a postpaid line. It is the practical thing to do because I spend more or less a thousand pesos in prepaid credits for a month, so I might as well get a line.
I submitted the requirements to Globe Gateway around 6:00 PM before going to Shoppersville in Greenhills with my family and was told that it will be processed within 2-3 business days. But to my surprise, I got a text message around 10 PM that my application has been already approved. That was fast. I will be getting my new unit tomorrow, a BlackBerry 3G 9300 and I feel extremely sad for my old cellphone. I have this weird tendency that some things can “feel” or something. Really weird.
